Wixams Railway Station – Whilst the emphasis is on completing Lakeside, work is already underway to ensure a seamless transition into the next phase of development in Village Two and beyond.

In particular Gallagher are continuing to work closely with Network Rail to secure the delivery of a new railway station at Wixams. A £17.3 million funding commitment by Gallagher has seen the evolution of a design for a modern railway station and multi-storey car park which current programming indicates is due for completion in 2015.

If delivered, this will provide an unparalleled doorstep facility giving access to the midlands main line providing regular services to Bedford, London and the wider regions.
